Boris Foxman, the Founder of the Russian Art Project and the President of the NBAC Corp. brings years of experience as a financial planner and art collector.
“The Russian Art Project is set to introduce high quality art to local audiences and make its ownership affordable for many. I would like the project to bring Russian art to the forefront of the American art scene by continuously exhibiting and auctioning works of Russian artists in all regions of the United States”
Over 250 works will be offered for preview on May 12 and auction sale on May 13 bring a chance to purchase work at a fraction of it’s estimated value.
One of today’s most noticeable trends in the American art world is the growing interest among collectors and art critics to the Russian Fine Art. Following suit of London and New York, Washington may emerge as the next burgeoning venue for top quality artwork from the countries of the former Soviet Union.
Our Mission: The Russian Art Project is a Maryland - based non-profit organization. Our mission is to introduce renowned and gifted young artists from the countries of the Former Soviet Union to the American art scene. By exhibiting and auctioning the paintings and sculptures of high quality, we aspire to raise public awareness of the deeply rooted art traditions from the far-flung region they represent. We aim to demonstrate the impact those traditions made on the world of contemporary art.
By commissioning artwork directly from artists, the Project presents top quality items to the American public, art collectors and those looking to make smart investments.
